Thank goodness for cell phones and a mobile office! I was in London when I got a call asking me to coordinate a 2-day event in New York that included plenary sessions, workshops, lunches and a high-level panel and reception. Once I flew back to New York and met the team, I had only 6 days!
With more than 200 child rights experts, country experts and business leaders traveling to New York to participate, including the Queen of Belgium (her first official trip to New York) – it was quite a challenge!The program also featured a high-level panel discussion and reception hosted by the Queen of Belgium and her Deputy Prime Minister.
